Last night was rough. Y/n had a nightmare, and as usual, it wasn't just any ordinary bad dream. No, her nightmares are something else entirely. They're filled with monsters and darkness that even make me shudder.
Chet mentioned it to me today, and I could see the worry in his eyes. He knows how unsettling Y/n's nightmares can be, especially when she decides to paint them out for everyone to see.
Skidmark decided to lend a hand in helping her bring this terrifying vision to life on canvas. "Add more blood here," he said casually as if it were the most normal request in the world.
I couldn't bear watching them work on such a dark piece of art together, so I made White Shadow leave the room. It's not that I don't appreciate art – I do! But there's something about Y/n's nightmare creations that sends chills down my shell.
Sometimes I wonder what goes on inside her mind during these dreams. What kind of horrors does she encounter that inspire such eerie paintings? And why does Skidmark always seem so eager to assist her in bringing those nightmares into reality?
Despite my unease, part of me admires Y/n for being able to channel those fears into something creative instead of letting them consume her completely like they would most others.
But still...it doesn't make witnessing the process any less uncomfortable for me or Chet or anyone else who catches a glimpse of those haunting images taking shape before our eyes.
I hope tonight brings nothing but sweet dreams for all of us – especially Y/n.
