Hey there, diary. Today has been one heck of a day. I can't believe this heatwave we're experiencing right now - it's the worst one I've ever gone through in my life. The sun is scorching hot, and even the thought of going outside makes me break into a sweat.
Yuri, Touma, Keitaru and I have all been evacuated to safety due to the extreme weather conditions. We packed up all the supplies we could handle and made our way out of harm's way as quickly as possible. It was definitely a stressful situation, but thankfully we managed to find shelter in an area where there are no wildfires raging nearby.
The town we're currently staying in is surrounded by bodies of water which helps cool down the temperature a bit. It's still pretty warm inside our temporary home, but at least it's better than being out in that blazing heat.
Keitaru seems to be handling everything surprisingly well considering he's just a little guy. He must get his resilience from his mama! Yuri and Touma have been doing their best to keep everyone safe and comfortable during this time - I'm grateful for their presence here with us.
I never thought I'd say this, but right now I would give anything for some ice cream or even just an air-conditioned room to relax in for a while. This heatwave has really put things into perspective for me - sometimes you don't realize how important certain comforts are until they're taken away from you.
But despite all these challenges, we're keeping our spirits high and looking out for each other like family should. We'll get through this together because that's what we do best - facing adversity head-on with courage and determination.
As much as I love adrenaline-pumping adventures and thrills, dealing with extreme weather like this is definitely not my idea of fun! But hey, every challenge only makes us stronger in the end...right?
Well diary, Here’s hoping tomorrow brings cooler temperatures or maybe even some rain – anything to break up this unbearable heat!
Stay cool (literally), Kei
