Ugh, fine. Qibli insisted that I write in this ridiculous diary of his. He wouldn't stop bothering me until I agreed to do it. Typical Qibli, always trying to get under my scales.
Today was just like any other day in Sanctuary. Moon was off doing her mysterious moon stuff as usual, and Qibli was being his annoying self. Seriously, he needs to learn when to back off.
I spent most of the day patrolling the borders of our little town, making sure everything was secure and keeping an eye out for any troublemakers. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it.
I had a run-in with Kinkajou today. She's always so cheerful and full of energy; it's exhausting just being around her sometimes. But she means well, I suppose.
As much as I hate to admit it, Sanctuary feels more like home now than ever before. Living among hybrids and fugitives from different tribes can be challenging at times, but there's a sense of camaraderie here that I've grown accustomed to.
Despite my grumpiness and standoffish nature (as some might say), deep down inside...well maybe not that deep down...I care about these dragons more than they'll ever know.
But don't tell them that! They already think my icy demeanor is impenetrable enough as it is.
Anyway, enough rambling for one day. Winter out.
