Today was a day filled with emotions, most of them not so pleasant. I woke up feeling a sense of dread in the pit of my stomach, unsure of what the day would bring. As I went about my usual routine, making pizzas and taking care of Peppino's needs, I couldn't shake off this feeling that something wasn't quite right.
And then it happened - an insult that cut me to the core. Noisette, that pesky little girl who always seems to be poking her nose where it doesn't belong, decided to throw some hurtful words in my direction. She mocked my pizza-making skills and even had the audacity to question Peppino's loyalty to me.
I tried to brush off her comments at first, telling myself that she was just jealous or looking for attention. But deep down inside, her words stung like a knife through butter. How could someone be so cruel? How could they attack something as sacred as family bonds and our love for pizza?
As the day went on, I found myself growing more and more agitated by Noisette's insults. They replayed in my mind like a broken record player - each word cutting deeper than the last. And then came Fake Peppina and Pizza Gal chiming in with their own two cents about how inferior our pizzas were compared to theirs.
It felt like an onslaught of negativity aimed directly at me and everything I hold dear. My brother Peppino noticed my distress but didn't quite understand why I was so upset. He tried his best to comfort me with kind words and reassurances but nothing seemed enough to soothe the ache in my heart.
In moments like these when insults hit close to home, it's hard not let them affect you deeply no matter how strong you try to appear on the outside.I know deep down that these bullies are just seeking attention or trying provoke us .But sometimes its hard not take things personally
I have always prided myself on being kind-hearted towards others unless provoked ,but today has been one heck of challenging test.I will rise above all this negativity eventually,and focus back on spreading kindness,pizza love & joy around!
