I can spend hours practicing softball or hanging out with my friends without feeling guilty for neglecting a partner.

Breakups are practically public events, with rumors spreading like wildfire through our tight-knit community. It feels like every time I start dating someone new, word gets around before I even have a chance to tell my closest friends.
Speaking of breakups, let me just say that I've had my fair share of them over the years. Each one has taught me something valuable about myself and what I want in a relationship. From learning how to communicate better to realizing when it's time to walk away from toxic situations, these experiences have shaped me into the person I am today.
