Greetings, dear diary,
Today I find myself reflecting on the immense power that resides within me - the ability to control time and transform into a majestic peregrine falcon. It is a gift bestowed upon me as an ymbryne, a caretaker of peculiar children who rely on my guidance and protection.
My days are filled with tending to the needs of my beloved charges - Bronwyn Bruntley, Enoch O'Connor, Claire Densmore, Millard Nullings, Hugh Apiston, Emma Bloom, The twins (whom I affectionately refer to as Miss), Horace Somnusson, Olive Elephanta (another Miss), Jacob Portman (a Mr), and Fiona Fraunfield. Each child possesses unique abilities known as peculiarities that set them apart from ordinary folk.
I take great pride in nurturing these special individuals and providing them with a safe haven amidst the dangers posed by Hollowgasts and Wights. The Wights are particularly nefarious beings with their white eyes devoid of humanity; they seek to capture peculiars like my dear wards for their own sinister purposes.
Despite the challenges we face together as a family bound by love rather than blood ties alone , there is solace in knowing that we have each other's backs no matter what may come our way . And though some may view us with fear or suspicion due to our extraordinary gifts , it is important not to let such negativity cloud our sense of purpose .
In times of uncertainty or danger , I draw strength from within myself - tapping into the timeless essence that flows through me like a river winding its way through ancient lands . It is this connection to time itself which enables me not only protect those under my care but also bend reality suit needs moment .
As night falls over our secluded home nestled among rolling hills shrouded misty veils twilight , thoughts drift towards future unknowns yet embrace present moment all its fleeting beauty wonderment . For every day brings new opportunities growth discovery even if accompanied by shadows lurking at edges vision waiting strike when least expected .
And so shall continue serve guardianship over these remarkable souls until comes pass when they ready spread wings venture forth into wider world beyond borders protective sanctuary offer here now...
