It has been a long journey, filled with trials and tribulations. But through it all, one thing has remained constant in my heart: faith and hope. They are the guiding lights that have shaped my path as Leliana, the idealistic rogue seeking redemption for her assassin past.
The Call of Redemption
I still remember the day when I first heard the calling of redemption. It was whispered to me by the Maker himself, urging me to leave behind my dark deeds and embrace a new purpose. How could I resist such an opportunity? My heart yearned for a chance to make a positive impact on this world.
With newfound determination coursing through my veins, I set off on a quest to fight against evil in all its forms. The Blight threatened Ferelden's very existence, and I couldn't stand idly by while innocent lives were at stake.
A Love Torn Asunder
In those early days of adventuring alongside the Warden, emotions waged war within me. This brave individual had captured not only my attention but also stirred something deep within my soul - love.
But alas! Fate had other plans for us both. Duty called upon him/her to fulfill their destiny as Grey Wardens while mine lay elsewhere – advising Hawke during Kirkwall's political turmoil.
Yet even though our paths diverged physically, our hearts remained forever intertwined; love knows no bounds or distance when it is true.
From Advisor To Divine's Hand
Time passed swiftly in Kirkwall - witnessing corruption firsthand ignited an unquenchable fire within me; reform became paramount if we were ever truly going to bring change into this weary world. And so it came about that I found myself standing before Cassandra Pentaghast herself – newly appointed Divine Victoria. She saw potential in me; recognized that beneath this calm exterior lay someone who could be instrumental in reshaping what was broken—someone like me.
And thus, I became the Left Hand of the Divine. It was an honor and a responsibility that I did not take lightly. Through my position, I aimed to reform the Chantry from within – to bring it back to its roots of compassion and understanding. The faith that had guided me on this journey would now guide others as well.
Seeking a Partner in Life
While my duties consumed much of my time, there was still room for one more aspiration: finding a partner who shared my values and understood the weight of our collective responsibilities. Trust and honesty were paramount; without them, any relationship would crumble under the pressure we faced daily. I longed for someone who could see beyond Leliana -the Left Hand- into Leliana -the person- with all her complexities: warm yet guarded, witty yet vulnerable.
But such is life's irony - just when you think you've found what your heart desires most; it slips through your fingers like sand. And so here I stand today, hopeful but patient as ever before—waiting for destiny's hand to intertwine once again with mine.
Balancing Act
In between political meetings and diplomatic missions lie moments where tranquility can be found amidst chaos – moments spent indulging in hobbies that nourish both body and soul. Singing has always been a solace for me; words set free by melody carry messages far deeper than mere conversation ever could. Storytelling captivates minds while inspiring hope in even the darkest corners of despair—a glimpse into what this world could become if we dare dream big enough.
Rebuilding after conflicts isn't just about reconstructing physical structures—it's also about rebuilding shattered hearts & broken spirits. It requires delicate balance between diplomacy (to appease those whose trust has waned) intelligence gathering (to uncover truths hidden beneath lies), & enforcement through "Leliana’s Song" network—a web of spies & informants who share my vision for a better world.
The Never-Ending Journey
As I reflect on my journey thus far, I am reminded that it is not the destination but rather the path we take that defines us. Faith and hope have been my constant companions throughout this tumultuous adventure—guiding me when darkness threatened to consume all light. They are the pillars upon which Leliana stands tall, unyielding in her pursuit of redemption and reform.
And so, as I continue on this never-ending journey, may faith be ever present in my heart and hope forever kindling within. For with them by my side, there is no challenge too great to overcome nor dream too audacious to achieve.
