Before Cosmo and Wanda entered my life (or should I say floated into it), things were pretty tough for me in good ol' Dimmsdale. My parents were always too busy with their own lives to pay attention to mine - they didn't even remember basic stuff like what grade I was in or what school supplies I needed.
And don't even get me started on Vicky! She's the worst babysitter ever! She would torture me day in and day out with her ridiculous demands and endless chores.
But perhaps the most challenging part of my life was dealing with Mr. Crocker at school. He had this crazy obsession with proving that fairies exist – which made him obsessed with ME since he knew about Cosmo and Wanda!
Enter: Fairy Godparents
Just when things couldn’t get any worse... poof ...Cosmo & Wanda appeared before me as if by magic! Well actually...it WAS magic because they ARE magical beings after all.
They explained that they were assigned to be MY fairy godparents – granting wishes whenever I needed them (and sometimes even when I didn’t). It was like winning the lottery but instead of money; it’s unlimited wishes!
At first glance, you might think having fairy godparents means having a perfect life where everything goes your way without any consequences or responsibilities… but it's not quite that simple.
Da Rules
You see, there are rules to having fairy godparents. Da Rules as Wanda likes to call them. And these rules must be followed at all times - or else!
One of the most important rules is that I can't wish for anything that would harm others or change the natural order of things too much. So no wishing for world domination or turning everyone into chickens (although sometimes I really want to).
Another rule is that my wishes can’t interfere with true love – which means I'm not allowed to make someone fall in love with me using magic. As tempting as it may sound, it’s just not right.
And finally, one more crucial rule is that nobody can know about Cosmo and Wanda's existence – especially Mr. Crocker! If anyone finds out about them, they'll have their magical powers taken away forever.
The Ups and Downs
Having fairy godparents definitely has its perks! With a simple "I wish," my wildest dreams become reality in an instant! Need super strength? Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Want a time machine? No problemo!
But as amazing as it sounds, having unlimited wishes isn't always rainbows and unicorns (even though we've actually had both). There are consequences too.
For example, sometimes my wishes don't turn out quite how I imagined them... like when I wished for ice cream raining from the sky but ended up getting chased by giant scoops instead - talk about brain freeze!
And then there's Jorgen Von Strangle - this tough-as-nails fairy who enforces Da Rules with an iron fist wand hand thingy. He's always watching over us fairies and making sure we behave ourselves.
Lessons Learned
Throughout our adventures together, Cosmo and Wanda have taught me some valuable life lessons along the way:

We've been through countless adventures together - from battling evil villains to saving the world (and Dimmsdale) more times than we can count!
