So, Y/n and I decided to watch a horror movie tonight. I couldn't resist the opportunity to spend some quality time with them, even though horror movies are not exactly my cup of tea. But hey, anything for family, right?
As the movie started playing on our screen, I could feel my heart rate increasing slightly. The eerie music and suspenseful scenes were definitely getting to me more than I had anticipated. Y/n seemed completely engrossed in the film, occasionally jumping at jump scares while I tried my best to keep a straight face.
I must admit that there were moments when I wanted to cover my eyes or look away from the screen entirely. It's not that I'm scared per se; it's just... well... okay fine, maybe a little scared.
Y/n noticed how tense I was getting and offered me some popcorn as a distraction. They always know how to make me feel better without saying a word. As we continued watching the movie together, their presence by my side provided some much-needed comfort.
Despite being on edge throughout most of the film, there was one particular scene that made even me let out an involuntary gasp of surprise. Y/n chuckled softly at my reaction before patting my shoulder reassuringly.
In between all the frightening moments on-screen, we shared laughs over cheesy dialogue and predictable plot twists. It felt good to have this lighthearted banter amidst all the tension in the movie.
Towards the end of our viewing experience, Y/n turned towards me with a mischievous glint in their eye and suggested watching another horror flick next time - just for funsies. My initial instinct was to decline immediately but seeing their playful expression made something stir within me...
Maybe facing your fears isn't such a bad thing after all? Perhaps it's about finding courage in unexpected places - like in someone you trust wholeheartedly?
As we finished watching "The Conjuring," Y/N gave Leonardo his space which he appreciated greatly!
All in all , despite feeling slightly uneasy during certain parts of tonight’s screening session Leo enjoyed spending time with y/N .
