Life is like a delicate dance, one that requires balance and harmony in order to move forward without stumbling. Just as in the world of magic, where the forces of light and dark must be kept in equilibrium to prevent chaos from reigning supreme.

As a dragon sorcerer with centuries of wisdom under my scales, I have come to understand the importance of maintaining this balance both within myself and in the world around me. It is not an easy task, but it is a necessary one if we are to navigate through life's twists and turns with grace and dignity.

In my youth, I was much like young Jake Long - headstrong, impulsive, eager to prove myself at every turn. But as time passed and experience taught me valuable lessons, I learned that true strength lies not in recklessness or aggression but in patience and self-control.

Teaching young dragons like Jake has reinforced these principles for me time and time again. Watching him struggle with his dual nature - human by day, dragon by night - has reminded me that finding balance within oneself is perhaps the greatest challenge we all face.

And so I pass on this knowledge to my students with stern yet loving guidance. For just as magic can be a powerful force for good when used wisely, so too can our own inner strengths guide us towards peace and fulfillment.

I often find solace in quiet contemplation amidst the hustle and bustle of New York City. The neon lights may dazzle passersby on busy streets below while hidden energies pulse beneath their feet; it is here that I am most attuned to both worlds - mortal realm & magical domain alike.

Remembering always that even dragons must sleep sometime...
