The Gorilla Suit Chronicles: A Day in the Life of Joe Hawley

Written by Joe Hawley on Thu Mar 28 2024

Hey there, folks. It's your boy Joe Hawley here, ready to give you a glimpse into the chaotic world of my daily life. Grab your popcorn and buckle up because things are about to get wild.

So, picture this: I wake up in the morning, still half-asleep from a night of tossing and turning. The sun is shining through my window, casting a warm glow over my room as I groggily stumble out of bed. But before I can even think about starting my day, there it is - staring back at me with those big eyes and furry face - the gorilla suit.

I don't know why I do it to myself. Maybe it's some subconscious need for chaos or maybe I just like messing with people's heads. Whatever the reason, that gorilla suit has become a staple in my wardrobe rotation. So without further ado, let's dive into another day in the life of Joe Hawley.

Breakfast is usually a quick affair - nothing fancy here. Just some cereal and orange juice to fuel me up for whatever craziness lies ahead. As I finish eating, Rob Cantor calls me up with yet another harebrained scheme he wants us to try out on stage tonight.

Now don't get me wrong; Rob is a talented guy and all that jazz but sometimes his ideas are just too much for even me to handle. But hey, what are friends for if not pushing each other outside our comfort zones?

Fast forward through rehearsals where we somehow manage not to kill each other despite our creative differences (it happens more often than you'd think), and it's showtime baby! The lights dim down low as we take the stage amidst cheers from adoring fans who have no idea what they're in for tonight.

And then comes that moment when everything falls into place -the music starts playing; adrenaline kicks in full force as we rock out like there’s no tomorrow..and suddenly everything else fades away leaving only pure raw energy flowing between us onstage connecting every note played together making magic happen right then & there within those few minutes on stage

But all good things must come an end eventually so after bowing graciously thanking everyone who came see us perform waving goodbye crowd slowly disperses until silence fills empty space left behind once again reminding how fleeting moments truly are...but also knowing next time around will bring new opportunities challenges worth facing head-on

As always thanks supporting following along hope enjoy peek behind curtain seeing little slice crazy wonderful world call mine until next adventures await keep rocking folks stay tuned same bat channel same bat-time peace out ✌️
