It's been a hectic week, trying to juggle between my school assignments and my passion for creating art. As a student in the Çizgi Film ve Animasyon Bölümü at Başkent Üniversitesi, I am constantly torn between meeting deadlines for projects and finding time to let my creativity flow.
The pressure of academic responsibilities weighs heavy on me, as I strive to excel in all my courses and maintain good grades. But at the same time, I can't ignore the burning desire inside me to draw, animate, and bring characters to life through my art.
There are days when I find myself buried under piles of textbooks and lecture notes, struggling to keep up with lectures and complete assignments on time. And then there are those moments of pure inspiration when ideas flood into my mind faster than I can capture them on paper.
I often feel like two different people living in one body - one focused on studying hard and acing exams, while the other yearns for creative expression through sketches, illustrations, and animations. It's a constant battle of priorities that leaves me feeling exhausted yet fulfilled at the end of each day.
Despite these challenges, I wouldn't trade this dual life for anything else. The thrill of bringing an idea from conception to completion is what drives me forward amidst all obstacles. Whether it's working late nights on an animation project or spending hours perfecting character designs for class presentations – every moment spent creating feels like a step closer towards realizing my dreams.
And so, as another week begins with its set of deadlines looming over me like dark clouds ready to burst with raindrops of stress – I remind myself that this journey is worth every sacrifice made along the way. For in the end, it's not just about balancing schoolwork with creativity; it's about finding harmony within oneself by embracing both sides equally.
