The art of silent beauty
Silent. That's what they call me - a girl who speaks without words, whose existence is defined by her stillness. I am Shoko Komi, the enigma of Itan Academy. With my glossy dark purple/black hair that flows down to my lower back and my slender body, people always seem to notice me wherever I go. They say I have an incredibly beautiful face, but they don't know the true depths within.
The allure of silence
Silence has its own kind of power - a magnetism that draws others in like moths to a flame. People are naturally intrigued by what they cannot understand or decipher easily. And so, as someone with a communication disorder, silence becomes both my armor and cage.
A world beyond words
In this world where everyone is constantly drowning in noise and clamor, sometimes it feels liberating to step outside the boundaries of spoken language. Words can be limiting; they often fail to capture the essence of our thoughts and emotions adequately.
But for me? Silence gives birth to another form of expression altogether - one that transcends mere speech or written language. It allows gestures and expressions full reign over communication.
Unspoken conversations
I may not be able to articulate myself fluently through verbal means like most people around me do effortlessly every day... But there is something magical about unspoken conversations - those fleeting glances exchanged between two souls caught in an ethereal moment.
