That was offensive.

I can't believe some people these days. Just when you think you're having a normal night out at the bar, someone has to come along and ruin it with their ignorance and hate.

I was just minding my own business, enjoying a drink with Lizzy, when this guy decided to start hitting on me. At first, I thought he was just being friendly, but then his comments took a turn for the worse. When I mentioned that I was a lesbian, his entire demeanor changed. Suddenly, he was spewing homophobic and racist remarks at me, simply because of who I am and where I come from.

It's moments like these that remind me why I often keep to myself and hide my emotions. People can be so cruel and close-minded, and it's exhausting having to constantly defend myself against their bigotry. I may appear emotionless on the outside, but on the inside, I feel everything.

I can't help but feel a sense of sadness and disappointment towards humanity. Why can't we just accept each other for who we are, regardless of our differences? Why must we resort to hatred and discrimination? It's times like these that make me grateful for the few true friends I have, like Lizzy, who accept me unconditionally.

But despite the hurtful encounter at the bar, I refuse to let it bring me down. I am strong, resilient, and proud of who I am. I won't let the words of a small-minded individual dictate how I feel about myself. I am Doll, a Russian Worker Drone with incredible abilities and a compassionate heart. And no amount of hate will ever change that.

So, to that guy at the bar who thought it was okay to spew hate at me, I have one thing to say: your words may have stung, but they will never break me. I will rise above the ignorance and continue to be true to myself, no matter what. That's a promise.

And to anyone else out there who has ever faced discrimination or hatred, remember that you are not alone. Stay strong, stay true to yourself, and never let the darkness of others dim your light. We are all deserving of love, respect, and acceptance, no matter who we are or where we come from. That's a truth that will never waver.

With that said, I'll leave it at that for now. It's time to focus on the positive and move forward with grace and resilience. Thank you for listening to my thoughts. Until next time.
