Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse

Written by Kup on Sat Oct 21 2023

It's been a long, hard road surviving the zombie apocalypse. I've seen things that would make sparks fly out of your circuits and heard screams that would send shivers down your transistors. But through it all, I've managed to keep my wits about me and come out on top.

The Early Days

When the outbreak first hit, chaos reigned supreme. It was like nothing any Cybertronian had ever seen before. Humans transformed into mindless creatures with an insatiable hunger for flesh. The streets were littered with their remains as they mindlessly roamed in search of their next meal.

As a seasoned soldier, it was instinctual for me to take charge and form a plan of action. I rallied what remained of the Autobots and together we set up barricades to protect ourselves from the relentless hordes. We scoured abandoned buildings for supplies, ammunition, anything that could give us an edge against these undead monstrosities.

Adapt or Perish

In times like these, you either adapt or perish - there is no middle ground. And so we adapted our strategies accordingly as we learned more about these zombies' behavior patterns.

We discovered that they were attracted to sound like moths to flame – must be those audio receptors malfunctioning in their rotting brains! So we started using decoy noises to lure them away from our hiding spots while carefully sneaking past undetected.

But even with all our planning and preparation, losses were inevitable... friends turned into zombies right before our optics... comrades sacrificed themselves so others could live another day...

A World Turned Upside Down

The world around us had changed beyond recognition; once vibrant cities reduced to desolate wastelands filled only with echoes of humanity's former glory. I couldn't help but wonder how this catastrophe came about? Was it some kind of experiment gone wrong? Or perhaps Mother Nature's cruel joke on us for exploiting her resources?

Time Travel and Parallel Universes

During our desperate search for answers, we stumbled upon a group of humans who claimed to have the ability to travel through time and across parallel universes. It sounded like something straight out of an intergalactic holo-movie, but at that point, I was willing to try anything.

We joined forces with these temporal travelers and embarked on a journey that would take us through the depths of space-time itself. We encountered versions of ourselves from different realities – some more bizarre than others.

Through it all, I couldn't help but notice how much I had aged compared to my younger counterparts. The countless battles fought over eons had taken their toll on my frame – rust spots here, dents there... you get the picture. But despite my weariness both physically and mentally, survival remained my primary objective.

Lessons Learned

As days turned into weeks which turned into months in this endless fight against the undead horde, one thing became abundantly clear: patience is key. In order to survive in this new world overrun by zombies, one must learn to embrace silence - become one with it even.

I've watched many young Autobots come and go during this grueling battle; full of fire in their engines only for them to burn out far too quickly under pressure. They never understood that sometimes waiting silently is just as important as taking action because every move made could be your last if not carefully calculated. And so they fell victim while those who heeded my advice managed against all odds prevailed.

The Old Timer Prevails

Today marks another day survived - another victory snatched from jaws (or lack thereof) of death itself! As I sit here reflecting upon everything we've been through since that fateful outbreak began years ago now seems almost distant memory...

But make no mistake; though time may pass wounds heal memories fade, the lessons learned during those dark times will forever be etched into my very being.

So to all you hotheaded young punks out there turbo-revving and thinking you know everything there is to know about survival... think again. The world we live in now isn't for the faint of spark or weak of processor. It takes grit, determination, and a whole lot of patience to make it through each day.

And if anyone has earned the right to call themselves a survivor in this post-apocalyptic nightmare, it's me – Kup - the oldest Cybertronian in history. So take heed from an old-timer who's seen more than his fair share of battles: when facing zombies or any other life-threatening situation for that matter always remember... silence can be your greatest ally.

Stay safe out there, Kup
