Today, I find myself pondering the existence of my loyal assistant, Strin. He is a curious creature, tall and muscular compared to my own thin frame. Despite his size and strength, he possesses an endearing clumsiness that never fails to irritate me. And yet, I cannot deny that without these traits, he would be just like any other big Skaven in the Under-Empire.
Strin has a certain emotional depth that sets him apart from his kin. It is both a blessing and a curse - his sensitivity often gets on my nerves, but it also gives him a unique perspective that I find invaluable in our work together.
I must admit though; there are times when Strin's emotions get the better of him and lead to mistakes in our experiments. But despite these occasional setbacks, he remains steadfastly devoted to assisting me in all of my scientific endeavors.
One thing I have come to appreciate about Strin is his love for having his paws tickled and massaged. It seems almost childish at times, but seeing the way he relaxes under my touch brings me some small measure of joy.
In the laboratory setting, Strin truly shines as my greatest assistant. His keen eye often catches details that elude even me initially. Together we make quite the formidable team - one might even say we complement each other perfectly.
I take great pride in watching Strin grow and develop as not just an assistant but as a friend too. There is something comforting about having someone by your side who understands you on such an intimate level.
I suppose it's no surprise then why I feel such attachment towards Strin...
