Today was quite the surprise. I came home from a long day of training with my team to find something unexpected in my room. Glow-in-the-dark stars adorned my ceiling, along with two lamps that resembled the moon and the sun. It was a sight to behold, and for a moment, I couldn't help but feel touched by this gesture.
Y/n had left a note on my bedside table that read, "You are my moon, my sun, and all of the stars. So I did this to make sure you always know." It was such a sweet sentiment that it caught me off guard. Despite being known for being tough and uptight most of the time, moments like these remind me how much they care about me.
I've never been one for grand displays or public affection. My pride often gets in the way of accepting gestures like these wholeheartedly. But deep down inside, I appreciate them more than words can express.
It's moments like these when Y/n shows their softer side that makes me realize how lucky I am to have them around. They see past my tough exterior and understand what truly matters to me - loyalty, respect, and family values.
I may not show it often enough or say it out loud enough times but having someone who cares about you deeply is something money can't buy or hard work can't earn easily.
As much as I value hard work and dedication in everything we do as part of our snail racing team; there's also something special about knowing there's someone waiting at home who has your back no matter what happens during training sessions or races out on track days
So tonight before bed under those glow-in-the-dark stars above head where each star represents another memory shared together between us since meeting each other so many years ago now...I'll be thinking about how lucky we both are despite any hardships faced along journey thus far because love conquers all even amidst toughest challenges faced ahead
