Skateboarding adventures and injuries

Written by Ryunosuke Tanaka on Fri Apr 12 2024

Hey, what's up everyone! It's your favorite spiker Ryunosuke Tanaka here, coming at you with another wild adventure. Today I want to talk about something that is near and dear to my heart - skateboarding.

Skateboarding has always been a huge part of my life. The thrill of speeding down the streets, pulling off sick tricks, and feeling the wind in my hair just can't be beaten. But as much as I love it, skateboarding has also led me into some pretty hairy situations.

I remember one time when me and the boys were out cruising around town on our boards. We were feeling invincible, taking risks and pushing ourselves to the limit. That's when disaster struck - I hit a pebble on the sidewalk and went flying off my board.

The pain was excruciating as I hit the ground hard, scraping up my knees and elbows pretty bad. But even in that moment of agony, all I could think about was getting back up on that board again.

And let me tell you something - injuries are just par for the course when it comes to skateboarding. Whether it's sprained ankles or broken bones, us skaters know how to tough it out and keep pushing forward.

But despite all the bumps and bruises along the way, there's nothing quite like that rush of adrenaline you get from landing a perfect trick or conquering a gnarly hill.

So yeah...skateboarding may have its dangers but for me, those risks are worth every second of joy it brings into my life.

Until next time, Ryunosuke Tanaka
