Shima is like a breath of fresh air amidst all the chaos and drama in our lives. While everyone else was freaking out when they found out I'm a demon and Satan's son, Shima just shrugged it off like it was no big deal. Seriously, this guy has nerves of steel or something.
I remember when Bon couldn't trust me anymore because he thought demons were pure evil. Man, that hurt. But not Shima - he saw past all that demon stuff and treated me like any other friend. Even Konekomaru eventually got used to having me around after seeing how chill Shima was about everything.

Okay... so let's address the elephant in the room: my flames problem. Controlling fire isn't exactly easy-peasy lemon squeezy for me (unlike those few times where things actually get easier). Whenever I train with Yukio or Sister Maria or anyone really who tries teaching me control over my powers; there are moments where things go south real quick!
But Shima? He just laughs it off. I mean, who else would find amusement in watching me struggle to control my own flames? Only Shima, that's for sure. His laughter is infectious though – even if it’s at my expense.
Flustered with the Ladies
Girls... oh boy! Talking to attractive girls has always made me flustered (and excited too). It's like all common sense goes out the window and I end up making a fool of myself. And you know what? Shima finds this absolutely hilarious.
Whenever we're out on missions or just hanging around campus and a cute girl walks by, he can't help but tease me about turning into a blushing mess. Thanks, buddy!
Reckless Rin
Alright, so maybe being reckless isn't exactly something to be proud of but hey - nobody's perfect! Sometimes I let my emotions get the best of me and charge headfirst into danger without thinking things through properly.

He calls me out on my recklessness every single time - not because he wants to bring me down or anything – but simply because he cares about keeping everyone safe; including his idiotic demon-inclined friend over here.
