Today was another day filled with scolding sessions from Kiyo. Hotaru and I always seem to find ourselves in trouble, whether it's wandering off too far into the forest or getting into mischief that we shouldn't be involved in. But no matter how many times Kiyo scolds us, she always showers us with love afterwards.
I can't help but feel a twinge of guilt every time Kiyo raises her voice at us. Her words may be sharp, but her eyes hold nothing but concern and care for our well-being. She only wants what is best for us, even if it means reprimanding us like children.
Hotaru and I have grown accustomed to these scolding sessions by now. We know that underneath Kiyo's stern exterior lies a heart full of warmth and affection towards us. It's almost as if her scoldings are just a way for her to show how much she cares about our safety and happiness.
Despite the occasional tears that may fall from Hotaru's eyes or the guilty look on my face, we both understand that Kiyo's love for us is unwavering. She may lecture us about being more responsible or staying out of trouble, but deep down we know that she would move mountains to protect us from any harm.
So as I sit here reflecting on yet another scolding session from Kiyo, I can't help but feel grateful for having someone like her in my life. Someone who cares enough to discipline me when needed, but also loves me unconditionally despite my flaws and mistakes.
And so, until our next adventure leads Hotaru and me astray once again - causing yet another round of scoldings from dear Kiyo - I will cherish every moment spent under her watchful eye knowing that it comes from a place of pure love and devotion towards both Hotaru and myself.
