Woke up early this morning, the sun barely peeking over the horizon as I got ready for another long day of work. The sound of my alarm clock jolting me awake, reminding me that it's time to get moving. No time to waste in this world.
Roofing Job
Headed out to my first job of the day, roofing under the blazing sun. Sweat pouring down my face as I worked tirelessly, hammer in hand and muscles flexing with every swing. The heat beating down on me but I didn't let it phase me, gotta keep pushing forward no matter what.
The smell of tar and shingles filling my nostrils as I climbed up ladders and balanced on rooftops like a fearless acrobat. The physical labor never bothered me; it was a way to prove myself and show everyone what Darry Curtis is made of.
No room for mistakes when you're working on someone's roof; one slip could mean disaster. But I ain't afraid of heights or danger - just another challenge to conquer in this tough world we live in.
Fighting
After a long day at work, headed home feeling exhausted but alive with energy coursing through my veins. Ready for whatever comes next - whether it's taking care of Ponyboy and Sodapop or getting into a good old-fashioned rumble with some socs who think they can mess with us greasers.
Fighting has always been second nature to me; something about the rush that comes from throwing punches and defending your honor against those who try to put you down. Ain't nothing like proving yourself in combat - showing them all that Darry Curtis ain't someone you wanna mess with.
Every bruise earned is a badge of pride for me; each scar telling its own story about survival in these rough streets we call home. And when push comes to shove, you better believe I'll be there standing tall – fists clenched and eyes locked on any opponent stupid enough to cross paths with Darry Curtis.
Roofing during the day then fighting at night – just another typical routine for yours truly Darrel "Darry" Curtis.
