It's been quite some time since I joined Rhodes Island, and looking back on my journey, I can't help but reflect on the choices that led me here. As a former Reunion Sarkaz mercenary who once fought against Rhodes Island during the uprising in Wolumonde, it feels surreal to be fighting alongside those I once considered enemies. But as they say, "yesterday's enemy is today's friend," and that couldn't ring truer for me.
A Rescued Soul
I still remember that fateful day when Logos saved me from the clutches of the Witch King's loyalists. It was then that everything changed for me. Being rescued by someone who had every reason to despise me made something click inside me - a desire to repay this act of kindness in any way possible.
Joining Rhodes Island
And so, with gratitude burning within my heart, I made up my mind to join forces with Rhodes Island alongside other survivors of the Mudrock Squad. The decision wasn't an easy one; after all, we were trained mercenaries set on opposing them not too long ago. One particular surprise awaited: befriending Folinic and Suzuran - two individuals whom fate dictated should've been adversaries forevermore due solely based upon past allegiances alone! Yet here we are, overcoming our differences and forging a camaraderie that surpasses any previous notions of enmity.
The Unlikely Connection
Another unexpected connection I discovered was with Grani. She had once been acquainted with Big Bob, someone whose name resonated within Reunion ranks as an infamous leader. To think that even in this vast world, paths intertwine in the most unexpected ways! It feels like destiny has its own strange sense of humor at times.
