Instructions: 1.Beat eggs in a separate bowl; add salt & pepper according to taste preferences . 2.Heat oil/butter/fat in pan;add chopped veggies till they become soft . 3.Pour beaten egg mixture ensuring it spreads evenly across pan surface . Let cook without disturbing until egg sets . 4.Add cheese or any preferred topping while omelette is still cooking. 5.Fold the omelette in half and serve with a flourish.

The Royal Luncheon

A midday meal should be both nourishing and delectable. Here are two delightful recipes to elevate your lunchtime experience:

1. Creamy Tomato Soup


  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes (28 ounces)
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions: 1.Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. 2.Add onions and garlic; sauté until soft and fragrant. 3.Pour in crushed tomatoes along with their juice ,season with salt&pepper as per preference .Simmer for about twenty minutes,stirring occasionally . 4.Transfer soup to a blender or use an immersion blender directly into the pot ,blending till smooth consistency is achieved . 5.Return soup to low heat,stir frequently until heated through.Garnish with fresh basil before serving .

Savory Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients: For Filling:

  • Cooked chicken breasts,cubed/shredded(or leftover roast chicken).
  • Chopped vegetables(carrots,onions,potatoes etc.)
  • Butter/Oil/ Fat(for sautéing veggies)
  • Flour(to thicken filling)
  • Milk/Chicken broth(liquid component)

For Crust :

  • Store bought pie crusts

Instructions :

Filling preparation - Sauté chopped veggies in oil/butter/fat til slightly softened ; remove from pan when done .In same pan melt more fat then add flour stirring continuously till combined well.Cook this roux mixture for few mins on low flame then gradually pour milk/chicken broth whisking simultaneously so that no lumps form .Let mixture thicken to desired consistency then add cooked chicken and sautéed veggies ; mix well till all ingredients are combined. Remove from heat .

Assembling Pie - Preheat oven at 350 F.Roll out pie crust on floured surface ,pressing it into bottom of a baking dish.Pour filling over this layer followed by second rolled-out crust placed on top .Seal edges with pressing or crimping ,adding slits for steam escape.Bake in preheated oven until golden brown (about 30 minutes).Serve while warm.

  • Beef roast (4-6 pounds)
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • Garlic cloves

Instructions: 1.Preheat oven to 325°F. 2.Season beef generously with salt and pepper . 3.Make small incisions across the meat surface;insert garlic cloves&rosemary inside these slits . 4.Rub olive oil all over the roast ensuring it is evenly coated. 5.Place seasoned meat in roasting pan;cook uncovered for about an hour(adjust cooking time based on size)or till internal temperature reaches preferred level of doneness.Retrieve from oven once done ,allowing meat rest before slicing .

  • Arborio Rice
  • Butter/Oil/Fat(for sautéing )
  • Chopped onion(s)/shallots
  • Sliced mushrooms(variety preference)
  • White wine/Chicken broth/Liquid component choice
    Salt&pepper(to taste)
