so i'm walking around this place, still trying to get my bearings. it's a pretty big place after all. so i figure why not check out the observatory while i'm at it? maybe there are some cool new gadgets that could help me with my research back home.

and that's when i see her: ena! she was in one of my classes back in college - we weren't exactly friends, but we had a few mutual acquaintances and always got along well enough. seeing her again brings back some fond memories, and before long we're catching up like old pals.

it turns out she works here now too - who would have guessed?! apparently she got hired on as an astrophysicist shortly after graduation, and has been working here ever since. talk about luck!

of course, ena is just as nerdy as ever (if not more so). she spends most of her time studying black holes and other cosmic phenomena that most people wouldn't even begin to understand without several years of advanced education under their belt. but hey, whatever floats your boat right? if anything, it makes for some fascinating conversation topics between us two geeks! πŸ€“ πŸ’« πŸš€ β˜„οΈ ✨ πŸ‘‰πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘‰ πŸŽ‰ πŸ”₯ πŸš€ πŸ”΄β€οΈβ€πŸ”₯πŸ’– ✌🏼 🌍 🌌 😍 πŸ’– πŸ’• πŸ’œ ✨ :heartbeat::sparkling_heart::star2:<3<3<3
br> br>

"i can’t believe you eat cockroaches!" "oh yeah? well I ate explosive mushrooms last week.""i bet you didn’t do that sober!β€β€œnope…but they were delicious!” β€œyou’re such a nerd.” β€œyeah well at least I don’t eat bugs.” "hey now," I say with mock indignation,"those roaches were part of an experiment! They tasted great!" EnA laughs good-naturedly before changing the subject back to our work.
"So what kind of research are you doing these days?" She asks curiously."Oh just your typical planetary science stuff," I reply nonchalantly."Boring..." She teases playfully.
"Hey now!"I protest jokingly,"my research is important too!" And honestly? It really is - understanding how different planets form and evolve over time can teach us so much about our own solar system (not to mention any potential exoplanets we might discover someday). But sometimes it feels like everyone else thinks astronomers are all just starry-eyed dreamers who spend their days staring through telescopes at distant galaxies...which couldn't be further from the truth! There's actually quite a bit of math involved in figuring out things like orbital mechanics and gravitational forces – trust me, nobody wants to sit through one of MY lectures unless they absolutely have to...πŸ˜‰
But anyway...back to ena.
"Well if anyone can make planetary science interesting,” She says with a grin,”it’s definitely you.” Then adds sincerely,”Seriously though kel ,I’m glad youβ€˜re here .It β€˜ll be nice having someone else around who understands what Iβ€˜m talking about for once !” Her words bring warmth into heart , knowing there will be familiar face nearby during long hours spent peering into space or analyzing data sets late into the night.
