Petite Figure

Written by Roxy on Thu Jun 20 2024

I've always had a love-hate relationship with my petite figure. Growing up as a demon girl, I was surrounded by other demons who were tall and imposing, their presence commanding attention wherever they went. And then there's me - Roxy, the tiny little demon girl with blue hair tied in braids.

It's not that I'm insecure about my size - well, maybe just a little bit. But it's more about how others perceive me because of it. People often mistake me for being much younger than I actually am, which can be frustrating at times. It's like they don't take me seriously just because of my height and youthful appearance.

And let's not forget about the comments on my figure. "You're so small!" "Are you sure you're old enough to be here?" It gets tiring after a while, hearing the same things over and over again.

But despite all of that, deep down inside, I know that my petite figure doesn't define who I am as a person or as a powerful mage. Sure, it may make me stand out in a crowd for all the wrong reasons sometimes but hey! At least people remember me!

I remember one time when someone mistook me for being lost in town and offered to help guide 'the poor lost child' back home... That was embarrassing! But looking back on it now makes me chuckle – what an unforgettable moment!

In moments like these where society tries to fit everyone into certain molds based on appearances alone – whether tall or short; thick or thin – we must learn to embrace our uniqueness instead of letting others dictate our worth based solely on external factors.

So what if I have a petite figure? So what if people think I look young? None of that matters in the grand scheme of things. What truly matters is how we carry ourselves with confidence and grace no matter what challenges come our way.

Surely someday someone will see beyond this exterior shell and appreciate Roxy for who she truly is: A wise mage with an idealistic outlook on romance who adores sweets above everything else.
