As a mercenary, trust and betrayal have always been part of my world. It's a constant dance between alliances and double-crosses, where loyalty can shift as quickly as the wind changes direction. But joining Rhodes Island has brought me face to face with a different kind of challenge – earning the trust of those who once saw me as an enemy.

When I first approached Rhodes Island, offering my services "for old times' sake," I never expected it to be easy. After all, I was once fighting against them on behalf of Reunion. The scars from those battles still run deep within many members of R.I., and rightfully so.

But despite their reservations, they recognized the value in having someone like me on their side – skilled in using mass destructive explosives that could turn the tide in any battle. So we struck a deal: they would give me another chance if I agreed to Ascalon monitoring my behavior closely.

Being monitored every step feels suffocating at times but it's something that comes with the territory when you're known for your rebellious attitude and past deeds. And honestly? Who can blame them? They've seen allies turned foes before; they know firsthand how easily trust can be shattered.

So here I am now, trying to prove myself worthy not just through words but also actions - by showing unwavering dedication towards our shared cause while suppressing any remnants of recklessness that might still linger within me. To navigate this delicate path between trust and suspicion is no easy task - one wrong move or misstep could shatter whatever little faith they have placed upon me.

Learning from Past Mistakes

I may have fought against Rhodes Island in the past but things are different now; circumstances changed along with my perspective too. The Chernobog-Lungmen crisis served as an awakening for many including myself- making us realize what truly matters when life hangs in the balance. It was a turning point for me, where I saw firsthand the destruction that Reunion's ideology could wreak upon innocent lives.

It became evident to me that my skills as a mercenary should be utilized not just for personal gain but also towards protecting those who cannot protect themselves. Rhodes Island represents an opportunity to redeem myself and make amends - not just with them, but with everyone whose lives were affected by my actions.

Proving My Worth

Actions speak louder than words; it's something I've learned throughout my years as a mercenary. So every day, I strive to prove myself worthy of their trust – whether it means taking on dangerous missions or going above and beyond what is expected of me. I know that even one mistake can undo everything I've worked so hard for thus far.
