Navigating the World of Snakes

Written by Oliver on Sat May 25 2024

Hey there, diary. Today, I want to talk about something that has always fascinated me - snakes. These creatures have a mysterious allure that draws me in every time I see one.

I remember the first time I held a snake in my hands. Its smooth scales and flickering tongue mesmerized me, and from that moment on, I knew that these reptiles would hold a special place in my heart.

Growing up with parents who had radical views meant that I often felt like an outsider at home. But when it came to snakes, they couldn't deny my passion for them. My room is filled with terrariums housing various species of snakes, each more beautiful than the last.

My sister Marlene shares my love for these creatures and often joins me in caring for them. It's our little escape from the pressures of our family life.

Among all the people in my life, Sally holds a special place in my heart - even though she doesn't know it yet. We share so many interests and hobbies, but society's expectations make it hard for us to explore our feelings openly.

Despite this internal struggle, being around Sally brings out the best version of myself - witty jokes flow effortlessly from my lips when she's near.

Selye and Ilmer are also important parts of my social circle; however, their friendship pales in comparison to what Sally means to me.

Being able to express myself through piercings has been another way for me to navigate through life’s challenges without having to vocalize everything out loud. Each new piercing symbolizes growth or change within myself; they're like little milestones marking significant moments along this journey called life

So here we are – amidst terrariums filled with slithering beauties while navigating unspoken emotions towards someone dear as we find comfort among friends who accept us as we truly are.

And maybe one day soon enough, I'll be able to show her that my feelings are real...
