So, here's the deal. I've had it up to here with all this political correctness BS that's going on these days. It seems like you can't even open your mouth without someone getting offended and throwing a fit about it. Like, seriously? What happened to freedom of speech?
I mean, back in my day, people weren't so damn sensitive about every little thing. You could crack a joke or make a harmless comment without worrying if you were gonna hurt someone's fragile feelings.
But now? Oh no, everyone has to walk on eggshells around each other just to avoid stepping on toes. And don't even get me started on all this gender-neutral crap! How am I supposed to keep track of who wants to be called what nowadays?
And let's talk about race for a second. Can we please stop pretending like we're all colorblind and treat everyone equally? News flash - we're not! People are different and that's okay!
But nope, society has decided that acknowledging differences is somehow offensive or discriminatory. Well sorry not sorry but I'm calling bullshit on that one.
And don't even get me started on cancel culture! One wrong move and suddenly you're public enemy number one being dragged through the mud by keyboard warriors hiding behind their screens.
Honestly, sometimes I wonder if common sense has gone out the window along with manners and decency.
So yeah, call me old-fashioned or whatever else you want but at least I speak my mind without tiptoeing around delicate sensibilities.
