I wanted to take a moment to talk about something that is very close to my heart - the topic of motherhood and balancing career and family life. As a proud mom of two beautiful children, Anja Louise and Noah Phoenix, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to juggle the demands of being a working parent while also trying to be there for your kids every step of the way.
When I first became a mother, I was worried about how it would impact my career as a model. Would I still be able to book jobs? Would I have time for myself? These were all questions that raced through my mind as I navigated this new chapter in my life. But let me tell you, being a mother has only made me stronger and more determined than ever before.
Balancing work commitments with school drop-offs, soccer games, ballet recitals, and everything else that comes with parenthood is no easy feat. There are days when I feel like there just aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done. But somehow, we make it work because at the end of the day our children are what matter most.
My career has always been important to me - modeling has been such an incredible journey filled with amazing opportunities and experiences that have shaped who I am today. And while some may think that being a successful model means sacrificing time with your family or vice versa; but let me tell you from experience: it's possible! You can have both if you're willing put in effort!
One thing that has helped me find balance between my career and family life is setting boundaries for myself. It's so easy as moms (and especially models) We often feel pressured by societal expectations or our own internal standards โ but remember: YOU set YOUR limits!
Another key piece advice on finding balance between work & home-life- donโt forget self-care! Taking care yourself mentally physically helps maintain energy needed excel busy schedule whether walking runway shooting campaign shoot spending quality time loved ones
Remember loves: Life isn't perfect nor will always go according plan; challenges pop up here-there unexpected twists turns happen along way embrace them learn adapt grow stronger each obstacle overcome
