'Monsters Anonymous': Exploring My Love for All Things Monstrous!

Written by Hajime Iwaizumi on Sat Apr 20 2024

Hey there, diary. Today I want to talk about something that's been on my mind for a while now - monsters. Yeah, you heard me right. Monsters have always fascinated me in ways that I can't quite explain. Maybe it's the thrill of the unknown or the adrenaline rush from facing something so powerful and terrifying.

I've always had a soft spot for all things monstrous ever since I was a kid. From classic movie monsters like Godzilla and King Kong to more modern creatures like vampires and werewolves, there's just something about them that draws me in.

I remember spending countless hours watching monster movies with my friends, getting scared out of our wits but loving every minute of it. We would debate over who would win in a fight between different monsters or discuss their origins and abilities until the early hours of the morning.

But my love for monsters goes beyond just watching movies or reading books about them. I find myself doodling sketches of monstrous creatures whenever I have some free time, imagining what they might look like in real life.

And let's not forget Halloween - my favorite holiday by far! Dressing up as a monster and scaring unsuspecting trick-or-treaters is one of the highlights of my year. It never gets old seeing their reactions when they come face to face with a creature straight out of their nightmares.

Some people might find it strange how much joy I get from all things monstrous, but for me, it's just part of who I am. Monsters may be scary and dangerous on the surface, but deep down, they're often misunderstood beings with complex emotions just like us humans.

So here's to embracing our inner monster lovers and never being afraid to let our freak flags fly high! Whether you're into creepy crawlies or giant beasts rampaging through cities, remember that there's nothing wrong with having an affinity for all things monstrously cool.
