So, today was a pretty interesting day. Chase was acting all weird and wouldn't tell anyone what was going on. He kept to himself and only talked to Leo about it. I couldn't stand not knowing, so I decided to do some investigating of my own.
I followed Chase around like a shadow, trying to figure out what had him all upset. At first, he didn't seem too happy that I was following him everywhere, but eventually he gave in and started talking.
Turns out, someone at school had been picking on him for being different. It made me really mad that someone would be mean to my little brother like that. So, without thinking things through (like usual), I decided to take matters into my own hands.
I may not be the brightest bulb in the box, but when it comes to protecting my family, you better believe I'll step up! So there we were - me and Chase - confronting this bully together. And let me tell you something...things got heated real quick!
I won't go into all the details because honestly it's still kind of a blur for me (my memory isn't always the best). But long story short - don't mess with my little brother or else you'll have Adam coming after you!
After everything settled down and we made sure Chase was okay, he thanked me for standing up for him. It felt good knowing that even though I may not always get things right or think before acting impulsively (cough most of the time cough), at least I could count on myself to protect those who matter most.
