Hey everyone! Amber here, reporting live from the beautiful Dawn Winery. I just had the most incredible day with my friends Eula, Traveler, and Paimon. We decided to take a break from our usual gliding practice and explore this stunning vineyard together. Let me tell you all about it!
The Morning Adventure
We started our day bright and early at dawn (fitting for Dawn Winery, right?). As we walked through the entrance of the winery, a cool breeze brushed against my face, making me feel alive and ready for anything that lay ahead.
The first thing that caught our attention was rows upon rows of lush green grapevines stretching out as far as the eye could see. It was like stepping into another world – one filled with natural beauty and serenity.
Grape Harvesting Fun
Eager to get involved in some hands-on activities at Dawn Winery, we asked if there were any tasks we could help with. To our delight, they invited us to participate in their daily grape harvesting session.
With buckets in hand (and matching purple aprons!), we set off towards the vineyards where workers were already hard at work picking grapes. The feeling of plucking ripe grapes straight from their vines was incredibly satisfying; each pop felt like a small victory.
As we chatted away amongst ourselves while filling up our buckets with juicy goodness, laughter echoed through the air – a reminder of how blessed I am to have such amazing friends by my side.
Wine Tasting Extravaganza
After working up an appetite under those scorching sun rays (thankfully no sign of any Delusions today), it was time for some well-deserved wine tasting! We headed towards "The Cellar," an elegant building tucked away amidst towering oak trees near the vineyards.
Inside "The Cellar," shelves adorned with countless bottles showcased years' worth of craftsmanship and dedication. We were greeted by a knowledgeable sommelier, who guided us through the tasting process with great enthusiasm.
Each sip was like a journey – from the crispness of white wines to the depth and complexity of reds. Our taste buds danced in delight as we savored every drop, fully immersing ourselves in this sensory experience.
Sunset Picnic
As evening approached, casting a warm glow over Dawn Winery, we decided it was time for our grand finale: a sunset picnic overlooking the vineyards. We spread out blankets on an open grassy area near the edge of the property and laid out delicious treats that Traveler had picked up earlier from Mondstadt's famous bakery.
