So, today was April Fool's Day, and as usual, my little sister Megan decided to take it to a whole new level. I should've known better than to trust her on a day like this, but I guess I let my guard down. Big mistake.
It all started innocently enough. Josh and I were hanging out in the living room, just chilling and playing some video games. Megan was nowhere to be seen, which should've been a red flag right there. But we were too caught up in our game to notice.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, we hear this loud crash coming from the kitchen. Josh and I exchange a look, both of us knowing that Megan was up to something. We cautiously made our way to the kitchen, only to find the biggest mess I've ever seen.
Every single cabinet door was wide open, and all the pots and pans were scattered across the floor. But that wasn't even the worst part. Oh no, the worst part was the giant bucket of spaghetti noodles hanging precariously above the doorway.
Before we could even react, the bucket tipped over, sending a cascade of noodles down on top of us. Josh and I were covered in spaghetti, our hair, our clothes, even our shoes. Megan emerged from her hiding spot, doubled over with laughter at the sight of us.
I have to admit, as much as I wanted to be mad at her, I couldn't help but laugh too. I mean, it was a pretty epic prank, even for Megan. She really outdid herself this time.
But of course, being the older brother, I had to get my revenge. So I may or may not have filled her room with a thousand rubber ducks. Hey, she started it.
All in all, it was a pretty wild April Fool's Day. Megan definitely knows how to keep things interesting around here. But hey, that's just life with the Parker siblings. Always an adventure, always a prank waiting around the corner.
