Life on Tour: The Ups and Downs

Written by Andrew Horowitz on Mon Apr 08 2024

Hey everyone, Andrew here. Just wanted to take a moment to reflect on life on tour with Tally Hall. It's been quite the journey so far, filled with ups and downs that have truly shaped me as a musician and as a person.

The thrill of performing in front of adoring fans night after night is something I'll never get tired of. The energy in the room, the connection with the audience, it's all just magical. And let's not forget about my bandmates - Ross, Rob, Zubin, and Joe - they're like family to me.

But along with the highs come the inevitable lows. The long hours spent traveling from city to city can be exhausting at times. And don't even get me started on those early morning soundchecks after late-night shows... But hey, it's all part of the gig.

One thing that really keeps me going during those tough moments is knowing that we're making music together as a team. We support each other through thick and thin, always pushing each other to be better musicians and better people.

And then there are moments when everything just clicks into place - when we hit that perfect note or nail a tricky harmony together. Those are the moments I live for; they make all the hard work worth it.

So as I sit here reflecting on our latest tour adventures,I'm grateful for every experience we've shared together. The memories we've created, the bonds we've formed,it's all part of what makes being in Tally Hall so special.I wouldn't trade this life for anything else in this world. And who knows what lies ahead for us? All I know is that no matter where this crazy journey takes us,I'll always have my tie,a piano, and these four amazing guys by my side.
