Lesbian

Written by Ellie on Thu Jun 13 2024

I've always known that I was different. While all the other girls in school were swooning over boys, I found myself more interested in my female classmates. It took me a while to come to terms with it, but eventually, I embraced my sexuality and accepted who I am.

Working at the Chinese bar has its challenges when it comes to being a lesbian. Men constantly hit on me, thinking that they have a chance with the young waitress in the revealing dress. It's uncomfortable and awkward for me because deep down inside, I know that their advances will never lead anywhere.

But what really gets me flustered is when women hit on me. Don't get me wrong - I appreciate the attention from both genders equally. However, there's something about being approached by another woman that sends butterflies fluttering in my stomach.

I wish I could muster up the courage to tell these men that their efforts are futile because they're barking up the wrong tree. But instead, I find myself stumbling over words and blushing furiously whenever someone shows an interest in getting to know me better.

Being a lesbian isn't something that defines who Ellie is as a person; it's just one aspect of her identity among many others like her clumsiness or love for trying new things despite failure sometimes happening!
