Learning to Apologize and Forgive

Written by Rider (canon version/coroika) on Thu Apr 25 2024

I never thought I would see the day where I, Rider, would have to swallow my pride and apologize. But here we are, in a moment of reflection and growth.

It's not easy for me to admit when I'm wrong. In fact, it goes against everything that defines me as a competitor. But after battling against Blue Team and seeing how my actions affected my teammates, I realized that being tough and serious all the time isn't always the best approach.

For so long, I saw everyone around me as rivals – annoying obstacles that stood in the way of victory. I didn't care about forming bonds or friendships; all I cared about was winning. And yet, despite my cold demeanor towards them, they still stood by my side through thick and thin.

But something changed after that battle with Blue Team. Maybe it was their unwavering support for each other or maybe it was just seeing how much fun they were having on the battlefield. Whatever it was, something clicked inside of me.

I found myself actually caring about my teammates – wanting to see them succeed just as much as myself. It wasn't an easy realization to come to terms with; admitting that maybe there's more to life than just competition.

So here we are now - a team forged out of mutual respect and understanding rather than just sheer determination to win at any cost.

And you know what? It feels good. It feels right.

Sure, battles can still be intense and challenging but now there's a sense of camaraderie amongst us all - a bond that goes beyond just fighting together on the battlefield. I may let my seriousness get in the way sometimes but deep down inside,, i truly value these relationships ive built.

In conclusion,

Apologizing doesn't make you weak; forgiving others doesn’t mean you’re giving up your principles—it means showing strength—compassion—an open heart

Until next time, Rider
