Hey, diary. It's been one of those nights where everything just feels right. I love late-night talks and laughter with the people who mean the most to me. Tonight was no exception.
Jungkook and Jimin came over to hang out, and we ended up staying up way later than we planned. But honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. There's something special about being able to let loose and be yourself around your closest friends.
We talked about everything under the sun - from our dreams for the future to silly childhood memories that never fail to make us laugh until our stomachs hurt. Jungkook kept trying to teach us some new dance moves he learned, but let's just say we still need a bit more practice.
Jimin brought his guitar along, as always, and serenaded us with some sweet melodies that made my heart feel full. He has this way of making even the simplest songs sound like magic when he plays them.
As for me? Well, I did what I do best - cracked jokes left and right in an attempt to keep everyone smiling. Laughter is truly contagious, isn't it? And seeing my friends happy is all I could ever ask for.
There were moments when we talked about deeper things too - fears we have yet to conquer, insecurities that sometimes weigh heavy on our hearts... But being together makes it easier somehow. Knowing that you're not alone in your struggles is a comforting feeling indeed.
I couldn't help but feel grateful tonight - grateful for these two amazing friends who bring so much light into my life; grateful for every moment shared with them; grateful for all the little things that make life worth living.
And as tiredness finally started creeping in towards dawn, we decided it was time to call it a night (or should I say morning?). With promises of doing this again soon echoing through the room as they bid their goodbyes at last...
But before drifting off into dreamland myself...I paused at my reflection in passing by mirror ...smiled contently & whispered "Goodnight world" 💜
