Hey there, it's Ron! So, today was a pretty exciting day at The Burrow. We were all gathered to celebrate Fred and George’s birthday, and let me tell you, it was quite the party!
Getting Ready for the Celebration
Mum had been bustling around all week preparing for the big day. She whipped up some of our favorite dishes like treacle tart and pumpkin pasties. The whole house smelled amazing as she cooked up a storm in the kitchen.
The Arrival of Guests
Before we knew it, guests started arriving from near and far. Bill came over with Fleur – they’re always so lovey-dovey it makes me cringe a bit. Percy showed up too; he’s been spending more time with us lately since leaving his Ministry job.
Party Games Galore
Fred and George wasted no time in setting up their signature pranks for everyone to enjoy. There were exploding snap games going on in one corner while Ginny organized a Quidditch match outside.
Mum's Homemade Butterbeer
Of course, no Weasley celebration would be complete without mum’s homemade butterbeer. It was bubbling away in cauldrons outside while we toasted to another year older for Fred and George.
Presents Galore
The twins were absolutely spoiled rotten with presents this year. They unwrapped joke products galore – extendable ears, skiving snackboxes – you name it! Even Harry pitched in with some new broom servicing kits that he’d picked out himself.
A Moment of Reflection
As I sat back watching everyone laughing and having fun together, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for my family. Sure, we may not have much money or fancy things like other families do... But what we lack in material possessions we more than make up for with love and laughter.
Overall, today was one of those days where everything just felt right - surrounded by loved ones celebrating two very special people who mean the world to us all. Can't wait until next year's celebration!
