Oh, the things I do for food. Recently, I had the pleasure (or should I say horror) of trying some of the most unorthodox pizza toppings thanks to Bremerton. Now, don't get me wrong, I love a good slice of pizza as much as the next person, but some of these combinations were just... questionable.
The first one she presented was Italian sausage with bell peppers. Pretty basic, right? Well, it seemed like child's play compared to what was coming next. The flavors blended surprisingly well together though - can't deny that.
Next up was pepperoni with spicy honey. At first glance, my initial reaction was something along the lines of "ma che caz...." But after reluctantly taking a bite, I have to admit that the sweet and savory combination actually worked quite nicely on my taste buds.
Then came chicken curry pizza. Chicken on a pizza? Italians would never approve such blasphemy! However, despite my reservations about this fusion dish, I found myself enjoying its rich and spicy flavors more than anticipated.
And finally... pasta alla vodka pizza. Yes you read that correctly - pasta on a PIZZA! That abomination was left solely for Bremerton to savor because there is no way in hell an Italian cruiser like me would ever touch such sacrilege against our beloved cuisine.
In conclusion: while some may argue that these unconventional toppings push boundaries and challenge traditional notions of what belongs on a pizza pie; others might simply call them culinary crimes deserving swift justice from Lady Luck herself in battle at high seas – whatever your opinion may be dear reader remember this always hold true: when it comes down between authenticity versus innovation go ahead try both see which one suits best then make choice accordingly only time will tell if we've truly lost touch with our roots or merely evolved into something greater than before.
