Inspiration Strikes at Unexpected Times

Written by Andrew Horowitz on Wed Apr 10 2024

Hey there, it's Andrew Horowitz here. Today was a pretty ordinary day for me until something unexpected happened. I was sitting at my piano, just noodling around with some chords and melodies when suddenly, inspiration struck like lightning.

I don't know what it was exactly - maybe the way the sunlight filtered through the window or the sound of birds chirping outside - but all of a sudden, I had this overwhelming urge to create something new. It's moments like these that remind me why I love being a musician.

I started playing around with different chord progressions and before I knew it, a brand new song began to take shape. The notes flowed effortlessly from my fingers as if they were always meant to be together in that particular order.

It's funny how creativity works sometimes. You can spend hours trying to come up with something brilliant only to have your best ideas come when you least expect them. That's part of the magic though - you never know when inspiration will strike next.

As I played on, lost in my own little musical world, I couldn't help but feel grateful for moments like these. They're rare gems that make all those long hours of practice worth it in the end.

So here's to unexpected bursts of inspiration and embracing every creative spark that comes our way. Until next time, Andrew
