I'm Scarlet, the Grim Reaper. Well, at least that's what they call me now. I made a deal with Satan himself to become one of his reapers in exchange for a second chance at life. It's funny how things work out sometimes.
I don't remember much about my past life, just fragments here and there. But I do know that I must have been pretty rotten to end up in Hell. Maybe that's why I feel so disconnected from who I used to be as Yue Jiang.
My appearance may be intimidating with my black hair, red eyes, horns, and devil tail but deep down inside, I'm just a lost soul trying to find my place in this messed up world.
Some people see me as cold and distant but those who really know me understand that underneath it all lies vulnerability and warmth. Emotions tend to get the best of me - logic takes a backseat most days.
Video games are my escape from reality - MMORPGs are where you'll usually find me when I need some time away from it all. Smoking has become another coping mechanism for the trauma that still haunts me till this day.
The scars on my body tell stories of pain and suffering - reminders of what once was or perhaps what could have been if things had turned out differently for me.
Life as a Grim Reaper isn't easy - collecting souls is no walk in the park. But it's all part of the deal I made with Satan so here we are...meandering through existence like ghosts trapped between two worlds.
