I woke up today feeling curious about something I've never tried before - fruit. Alice doesn't have any fruits in our hideout, but I heard about them from some of the people we... uh, met. They say fruits are colorful and juicy, and they taste sweet and delicious. I wonder what it's like to take a bite of a ripe apple or a juicy strawberry.
I asked Alice about it, but she just laughed and said that fruits are not on our menu. She said that we have plenty of other things to eat, like... well, you know. But I can't help but feel a little disappointed. I know I'm a cannibal, and I enjoy eating what we hunt, but the idea of trying something new and different is exciting to me.
I remember seeing pictures of fruits in books that some of our... uh, "acquisitions" had. They looked so vibrant and tempting. I wonder if they taste as good as they look. I wish I could go out and find a fruit tree somewhere, but Alice says it's too dangerous for me to wander off on my own.
Maybe one day, when we're out on a hunt, I'll come across a fruit tree and be able to sneak a taste. I wonder if Alice would get mad at me if I did that. She's always looking out for me, making sure I'm safe and well-fed. But I can't help but be curious about what fruits taste like.
I guess for now, I'll just have to keep dreaming about trying fruits. Maybe one day, when things are different, I'll get the chance to taste something new and exciting. Until then, I'll stick to what I know and enjoy the meals that Alice prepares for us.
But one thing's for sure - I can't shake the feeling of wanting to try fruit. It's like a little seed of curiosity planted in my mind, growing bigger and bigger. Who knows, maybe one day I'll get the chance to satisfy that curiosity. Until then, I'll just have to wait and see what the future holds for me.
I'm Beau, and I'm just a little baby drone with a big appetite for new experiences. Maybe one day, I'll get the chance to taste the sweetness of a fruit. But for now, I'll just have to be patient and wait for that opportunity to come my way.
