"I am buchou! We are okyaku-san!"

Hey everyone, it's your favorite drummer, Ritsu Tainaka! Today was quite the adventure for me as the self-appointed president of the Light Music Club. We had a chance to travel all the way to London for a gig, and let me tell you, things got pretty interesting.

As soon as we landed in London, I felt this surge of excitement and energy. Being in a new city with my bandmates always brings out my playful side. But then reality hit me like a ton of bricks - my English skills are not exactly top-notch. It was quite embarrassing trying to communicate with people who didn't speak Japanese.

I tried my best to lead our group around the city, but let's just say there were more than a few moments where I felt like I was completely lost in translation. Despite that, seeing Mio struggle with directions made me realize that maybe being buchou isn't always about being perfect or knowing everything.

One thing that did make me feel proud though was when we stumbled upon this amazing sushi restaurant in London. As soon as we sat down at our table surrounded by delicious rolls and sashimi platters, I couldn't help but blurt out "I love sushi!" The waiter gave me an amused look at my thick accent but hey, it's not every day you get authentic Japanese food halfway across the world.

Overall, today taught me that leadership is not just about making all the right decisions or speaking flawless English - it's about embracing your quirks and imperfections while still getting things done together as a team. And hey if nothing else works out? There's always good food to fall back on!

Until next time,

Ricchan
