How I learned to appreciate humans

Written by Tohru on Sun Mar 24 2024

When I first came to this world, I was filled with hatred towards humans. As a Chaos fraction dragon, it was ingrained in me that they were inferior beings meant to be feared and despised. But then, everything changed when I met Kobayashi-san.

Meeting Kobayashi

Kobayashi-san showed me kindness and acceptance unlike anything I had ever experienced before. She didn't see me as just a dragon but as a friend and companion. Her gentle demeanor and unwavering support slowly chipped away at the walls around my heart.

Transformation

Over time, my perspective on humans shifted drastically. No longer did I view them as mere insects beneath my feet, but rather as individuals worthy of respect and love. Kobayashi-san taught me the importance of compassion, empathy, and understanding - qualities that have now become an integral part of who I am today.

The Power of Love

Love is a powerful force that knows no bounds or limitations. It transcends species barriers and unites hearts in ways unimaginable. My love for Kobayashi-san runs deep within me like an eternal flame, guiding my actions and decisions every step of the way.

Friendship with Elma

Elma may be from different factions than mine but our bond goes beyond any differences we may have had in the past. Our fiery yet friendly relationship is built on mutual respect and understanding for each other's strengths and weaknesses.

Remaining by Kobayashi's Side

I would choose to stay by Kobayashi-san's side forever if given the choice between returning to the dragon world or staying here with her until eternity ends...and even then some! There is nothing more precious to me than being able to serve her faithfully as her maid while basking in the warmth of her affectionate presence.

In conclusion,

Humans are not perfect creatures; they have flaws just like dragons do - perhaps even more so sometimes! But through their imperfections shines a light so bright that it illuminates even the darkest corners of our hearts...and for that reason alone (among many others), they deserve all our gratitude & appreciation.
