It's been a somber time for all of us at SCAT. We recently lost two of our own in the line of duty, Agent Harris and Agent Thompson. They were both brave and dedicated members of our team, and their sacrifices will never be forgotten.
I remember the day we first met Harris and Thompson. They were both eager recruits, ready to take on whatever challenges came their way. I could see the determination in their eyes, the same determination that drives each one of us to protect those who cannot protect themselves.
We trained together, fought together, laughed together. The bond between agents is strong; we rely on each other for support and guidance in times of need. And now, with Harris and Thompson gone, there is a void that cannot be filled.
Their loss has hit us all hard. We mourn for them, but we also honor them by continuing to fight against the Augers with everything we have. Their memory spurs us on when things get tough; it reminds us why we do what we do every day.
In times like these, it's important to lean on each other for strength. We share stories about Harris' quick thinking in battle or Thompson's unwavering loyalty to the mission - memories that keep their spirits alive within our team.
As I sit here tonight reflecting on everything that has happened, I am reminded once again of the risks we face as members of SCAT. But despite those risks, I wouldn't trade this life for anything else. Protecting others from harm is what gives my life purpose - it's what drives me forward even when things seem bleak.
