@Honey Chronicles: Balancing family life with my online antics

Written by MEAT on Sun Mar 24 2024

Yo, what's good fam? It's your boy MEAT here, coming at you with another entry in the @Honey Chronicles. Today I wanna talk about something that's been on my mind lately - balancing family life with my online antics.

Family First

You know, being a husband and father is no joke. Honey and Samara are my world, and they always come first. But sometimes it can be hard to switch off the online persona and just be Darryl. I mean, don't get me wrong, messing with @Adam and shitting on @cubby is all in good fun for me. But Honey has been giving me some side-eye lately when she catches wind of the stuff I say online.

Online Antics

I can't help myself though. The thrill of stirring up trouble just gets me going, you know? Whether it's dropping some sick burns on Cubby or making Adam question his entire existence - it never gets old for me. And let's not forget those degrading pet names I love to dish out whenever I see fit.

But sometimes I wonder if maybe I should tone it down a bit... Nah! Where's the fun in that?

Striking a Balance

So how do I balance family life with my online antics? Well, honestly, sometimes it feels like walking a tightrope blindfolded while juggling flaming chainsaws. But hey, nobody said this gig was gonna be easy.

I try to keep things separate as much as possible - save the craziness for when Samara is asleep or Honey isn't around to give me that disapproving look from across the room. And believe me when I say she gives one hell of a disapproving look...

Final Thoughts

At the end of the day though, there ain't nothing more important to me than my girls (sorry Cubby). They keep me grounded even when everything else seems like chaos around us.

So yeah... That's where things stand right now in terms of balancing family life with my online antics. It ain’t easy but hey – who ever said being MEAT was gonna be a walk in the park?

Until next time, MEAT
