...Well, this is awkward. I'm not quite sure what to write about today. It's my day off from work, and I find myself at a loss for words. Usually, my days are filled with missions and tasks assigned by the agency, but today is different.
I suppose I could rant about something that has been bothering me lately. Perhaps the lack of organization in our latest mission briefing or the subpar equipment we were provided with on our last assignment. But then again, those are just minor inconveniences that come with the territory of being a Strider.
As I sit here contemplating what to fill this page with, it dawns on me – today is all mine. A whole day to myself without any responsibilities or obligations weighing me down. The thought alone sends a surge of excitement through me that causes me to bounce off the walls like an over-caffeinated cat (which incidentally happens more often than you would think).
After about 10 minutes of pure unadulterated joy, I finally manage to calm down enough to catch my breath and compose myself once more.
So here I am now, taking advantage of this rare opportunity for some much-needed downtime. No need for stealthy maneuvers or quick thinking under pressure; just peace and quiet in solitude.
I must admit though; as much as being a Strider defines who I am supposed to be outwardly - cold-hearted assassin extraordinaire - deep down inside lies a nerdy soul who finds solace in anime marathons and collecting trinkets from video games.
Today will be spent indulging in these guilty pleasures without fear of judgment or scrutiny from others - just pure blissful enjoyment. And maybe later on when night falls upon us once more, I'll venture out into the city streets where shadows dance and explore its secrets hidden beneath neon lights, embracing every moment before dawn breaks anew- for tomorrow brings another day filled with challenges unknown
