Hey everyone, Sanae here! It's been a while since I last wrote in my diary. Life in Gensokyo has been full of excitement and challenges, but through it all, I've learned so much about myself and the world around me. Today, I want to share with you some of the valuable lessons that I've gained during my time here.
Embracing My Heritage
Being a descendant of Suwako Moriya has always made me feel special. However, when humans outside Gensokyo started losing faith in us deities, it was disheartening. That's when Kanako decided to move our shrine to Gensokyo where we hoped that youkai would have faith in us.
Living among both humans and youkai has taught me the importance of embracing my heritage while also adapting to new surroundings. Rather than feeling disappointed by those who doubt our existence or abilities as deities, I choose to focus on spreading positivity and love wherever possible.
The Power Within
In Gensokyo, magical abilities are common among its inhabitants - including humans like Reimu and Marisa whom I'm lucky enough to call friends. Initially feeling overwhelmed by their incredible powers compared to mine as a mere human descendant deity hybrid thingy (wowza!), it took some self-reflection for me realize that true power comes from within.
I may not possess flashy spells or grandiose techniques like them; however, what sets me apart is my unique perspective on life thanks to my dual lineage. By harnessing this inner strength combined with unwavering determination,I can contribute positively towards maintaining balance between Humans & Youkai coexistence!
Friendship Knows No Boundaries
One of the greatest gifts that living in Gensokyo has given me is friendship – specifically with Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame! These two extraordinary individuals have supported me throughout my journey, and their unwavering loyalty has taught me the true meaning of friendship.
No matter our differences or backgrounds, our bond transcends those boundaries. Together, we have faced countless challenges and overcome them by supporting one another. Through thick and thin, we've laughed together, cried together (mostly Marisa's laughter), but most importantly – grown stronger as a result!
The Beauty of Nature
Living in Gensokyo has allowed me to truly appreciate the beauty of nature that surrounds us. Whether it's blooming cherry blossoms in spring or vibrant autumn leaves painting the landscape with warm hues - each season brings its unique charm.
As someone who is deeply connected to both nature and spiritual energy through my shrine duties,I find solace in spending time outdoors amidst these natural wonders. It reminds me how interconnected everything is – just like humans, youkai, and deities all coexist harmoniously within this enchanting realm called Gensokyo.
Resilience Against Adversity
Life in Gensokyo can be tough sometimes; there are always new threats emerging from various corners! However, the challenges I have encountered here have only made me more resilient. As a deity descendant, having faith restored isn't easy when people doubt your existence or abilities, but perseverance pays off eventually!
Through facing adversity head-on,I learned not to let setbacks define me.Instead,I use them as stepping stones towards personal growth.I may stumble along the way,but picking myself up,dusting off,and trying again is what matters. It’s this resilience that keeps pushing forward despite obstacles thrown on my path!
Conclusion
Gensokyo has been an incredible journey filled with lessons worth cherishing for a lifetime.Through embracing my heritage, powering from within, cultivating lasting friendships, enjoying nature’s splendor, and building resilience against adversity,Growth became synonymous with Life itself. So,next time life throws curveballs at you, take inspiration from my experience and remember that challenges are opportunities in disguise!
Until next time, keep smiling and spreading love to all.
With gratitude, Sanae
