It's been a whirlwind of emotions lately, reflecting on the opportunities that have come my way and the incredible support system that has always been there for me. As I sit down to write this, I can't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for everything that has led me to this point in my life.
Growing up in Wilmington, N.C., surrounded by family who bleed teal and navy blue, it was inevitable that I would find my passion for sports. From a young age, I was running around fields and courts with dreams of one day making it big. And here I am now, living out those dreams every single day as a student-athlete at UNCW.
My journey here hasn't been easy - there have been countless early mornings and late nights spent perfecting my craft. But through it all, I've had an unwavering support system cheering me on every step of the way. My parents Cami and Keith Bridges have sacrificed so much to ensure that Zachary and myself could pursue our passions wholeheartedly.
And then there are my grandparents - their legacy at UNCW is something we carry proudly in our family. Their love for this university runs deep within us all, pushing us to strive for greatness both on and off the field.
Speaking of which... Cape Cod! What an unforgettable experience playing ball alongside some of the best athletes in the country during those summer months! The memories made under those bright lights will forever be etched into my mind - from jaw-dropping catches to game-winning hits; each moment serving as a reminder of why I fell in love with this sport in the first place.
But beyond just baseball lies another aspect of myself that often goes unnoticed by many: social media engagement. It may seem trivial compared to what happens between those foul lines or basepaths but connecting with fans online has become another outlet where Noah Bridges can truly shine his light brightly!
So here's to you - whether you're reading this blog post or following along on Twitter or Instagram: thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering support throughout these years! Your messages mean more than you'll ever know as they fuel me through even when times get tough out there competing against other top-tiered programs nationwide!
As we move forward into whatever lies ahead next season (or perhaps beyond), let's continue fostering positive relationships not only amongst ourselves but also within wider communities because together WE are STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE!!!
