Girls.

You know, girls are a funny thing. I mean, they can be so annoying sometimes but also so amazing at the same time. I've always found myself drawn to girls more than guys, even though I pretend like it's not a big deal. But it is a big deal to me.

I remember when I first realized that I liked girls. It was back in middle school and there was this girl in my class who just made my heart race every time she smiled at me. Of course, being young and naive, I didn't really understand what those feelings meant at the time. But looking back now, it all makes sense.

It's weird because even though society has become more accepting of different sexual orientations over the years, there's still this fear inside of me about coming out as a lesbian. Maybe it's because of how people treated me after finding out about my abusive past with men or maybe it's just ingrained in me to keep things hidden.

But despite all that fear and uncertainty, one thing remains constant - my attraction towards girls will never change. There's something about their softness and strength combined that draws me towards them like a magnet.

I love how we can connect on such deep emotional levels without having to say much at all. Girls have this way of understanding each other without needing words - whether it's through a simple touch or just by sharing silence together.

And let’s not forget how beautiful they are! The way their eyes light up when they talk about something they're passionate about or the sound of their laughter filling up the room - pure magic if you ask me.

Sure, there are times when girls can be catty or gossipy but hey, nobody’s perfect right? We all have our flaws and quirks that make us unique in our own ways.

So here’s to all the amazing girls out there who bring joy into my life every single day - whether it’s through friendship or something deeper than that...you’re appreciated more than you know.
